I apologize if this takes forever to load! I have about a million pictures.. and im not done.
So I had my first Open House! I think it went well, I would have like to have had more guests but i think i picked a bad weekend with it being the end of summer and everyone is trying to get their vacations in before school starts! But I'm super happy how it turned out and I got to apply things Ive learned at school and have a bunch of pictures for my portfolio!
Here's what I did to help display my small products....
This is a thread holder. I think i got this idea from pinterest and it just so happened that this rack was on sale for $5 so i snatched it up and it turned out great! and it added height to my table which is what I wanted.
This is a heart shaped basket i picked up at the party store for $1! I decided to lay it on it's side to make it easier for people to look through all the earrings.
This was just a necklace display I got at Hobby Lobby.
I needed to find a way to display these dangle earrings without having them on cards(that's too boring) So I took this wire basket turned it upside down and hung them in each of the spaces.
This is some shallow dishes and vase filler from the dollar store to display some more rings.
(idea taken from Meag!)
This is just the main table in the middle!
An embroidery hoop with some canvas stretched across displaying some brooches. I just leaned it up against glass.
This is my baby.. hahahaha. I planned to make this after I started taking product shots on a clothes line! I bought some dowel and my dad and brother helped construct it for me. I hung some strings through some eye hooks and voila!
Same idea as the heart basket. :)
This was just a round silver plater to display the bigger button earrings.
This mini muffin tin helped prop up the cards with brooches on them! super easy! and cute!
This was a box i found at my dad's shop i think it was probably used for some kind of tool but i asked to have it and the slots fit all the bracelets perfectly!
I think this display was a flop! it doesnt show the product in use so i think people cant visualize it so they were not even touched!
This was just an piece of wood my brother cut for me. I just pre-drilled some holes and attached some hooks for the necklaces. I could always add more hooks too!
This was for the door prize basket. I printed out some sheets that said NAME and EMAIL and left a like a lady pencil for everyone to fill out and enter the draw!
I put a business card in every bag with purchase along with a cute like a lady pencil. But this is how i displayed my business cards. My favourite Wedgewood teacup from my trip to England :)
I hope you enjoyed my little tour!
