First off I'd like to say I'm going to be so sad to see Google Reader go.  :(

Well I've been at placement for the past couple weeks. I will be done on Friday and it has been a really great experience and SEVEN CONTINENTS is a really cool and creative company. I've really enjoyed seeing the entire process from ideas to making the prop a reality.
I'll share more about that later.

Onto Chachi's shower! I planned this shower for my BFF and it went really well. The favours didnt come in time but thats ok it was still lots of fun!

my fair lady

In my Set Design class we had to choose a musical from the ones provided. As  group we have been collecting information about the place, time periods and reading the script of My Fair Lady. We were given a scene in the play and had to make a maquette with our ideas on what the scene would look like.

I wish we had been taught more about the building process and how professionals go about doing things like this. For my first maquette I'm happy with it. I also only spent $2.00 on dowel and the wooden wheels. So that's pretty awesome :)

Family Day

A couple weekends ago my family and another family went on a ski trip to Blue Mountain up near Collingwood! 

It was a lot of fun even though I'm not very good and actually quite scared of falling.

Visual Merchandising

I have been working at Sears since October as a Visual presentation specialist. My friend Omar hooked me up with the position and I owe him big time! :)  It's been a great learning experience and I really enjoy going into work and working with really fun people! Now sometime the work itself isn't the most fun or inspiring but I get to work with all different types of products and try and make them look prettier. Hard goods is the most difficult for me. We don't have many props to work with and trying to make a bowl look awesome is not the easiest thing. but all in all I love my job right now and I love all the learning I do while Im there! Last week I learned the proper way to make a bed and get a duvet into it's cover! haha!

A couple weekends ago Claire and Chachi came for a visit! It was the most fun I've had in a love time and the day was filled with laughter from start to finish! I wish we all lived closer.
